Slow Jams

The freelance business has been a bit slow here, and that's been a blessing (considering all the flood nonsense that's been happening.)  We have decided to move most things back onto the homestead, and are back into full swing with the garden, yard, and animals.

While we seem busy, nature has seemed to show us signs of taking it easy.  The cherries, which were picked by June 11th of last year, are still a bit tart, and will need about a week or so before we harvest.

And then there are the animals.  These two moths startled my sons today while they were observing the tiny apples on our tree.

Yes, they are having some alone time, as you can see.  (Beautiful, aren't they?)

As busy as I am, it reminds me to stop once in a while.  It's good for me, and I don't know how much longer I'll have this break in business.
